The Difficult Run String Band is a cover band that plays an assortment of Bluegrass and Old Time music.  Their music is a variety of vocals and instrumentals. They have played at several venues in the Northern Virginia area including The Lost Rhino Brewing Company,  Great Falls Farmer's Market, Lake Anna Farmers Market, art receptions at the Vienna Art Society and the Torpedo Factory in Alexandria.  A highlight was performing at The Hamilton in DC. They have performed at two regional parks. In recent years, they performed fun Christmas Sing Along concerts at the famous L'Auberge Chez Francois French restaurant in Great Falls, Virginia.
